Sales & Operations Associate

Work Location: 565 Wilson Avenue, Unit W111, Toronto, Ontario, M3H 0C6

Position Summary

We are looking for an energetic self-starter to assist in the daily operations of our retail storefront in addition to our online channels and back-end marketing and sales activities.

The ideal candidate should have a very strong ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. The ability to remember and follow various processes and procedures is critical. For this role, you should be able to provide outstanding customer service to our clients and ensure back-end operations are running smoothly.

The S&O Associate will also assist in ensuring all client requests in-store and online are replied to promptly, in addition to overseeing that all shipping logistics are accurate and orders are completed in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

Customer Service and Support

  • Responding to client inquiries and requests via e-mail and over the phone
  • Managing daily administrative tasks to ensure sales initiatives run smoothly
  • Greeting customers in store and providing an outstanding customer experience

Product Management

  • Accurately receiving product shipments into warehouse system
  • Taking accurate stock counts to ensure inventory levels are accurate
  • Maintaining strong product knowledge of our various product lines and service offerings
  • Updating online channels with new products and product updates
  • Ensuring product pricing is accurate
  • Implement on-page optimization for product pages relevant to changing market needs
  • Create unique content for product pages and maintaining a high-level understanding of consumer behaviour related to this content

Shipping & Logistics

  • Handling shipping logistics for online orders
  • Handling process administration for orders
  • Coordinating with courier companies on inbound and outbound shipments

Operations

  • Preparing regular sales forecasting reports and inventory reports
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of search engine optimization campaigns
  • Assisting with promotional events and trade shows
  • Manage daily administrative tasks surrounding the sales cycle

Requirements

  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Excel and Word
  • Excellent written communication and verbal presentation skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette a must
  • Strong analytical skills with a goal-oriented attitude
  • Strong willingness to learn and grow in a fast moving industry
  • Diploma or degree in sales, marketing, or relevant field
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tools and techniques a plus
  • Experience with SEO/SEM campaigns a plus
  • Knowledge of web analytics, Google Adwords, Facebook ads a plus
