2021 Summer Drone Camp

Volatus Aerospace is hosting week-long Kids Summer Drone Camps in Winnipeg, Manitoba this year through our Drones In The Classroom program initiative!

Students will learn about the incredible drone technology, how it is affecting almost every industry on the planet, and its impact on career opportunities!

The best part is, no prior experience is necessary!

This program is designed to engage both experienced and novice drone users!

Topics covered throughout the week-long camp include:

• An introduction to the drone industry with real-world examplesfrom expert drone pilots and trainers who have pioneered the industry, conducting drone missions for Search and Rescue, Agriculture, Movie Production, Surveying and Construction, Conservation and Research, Sustainable Energy, and many more niche markets.
• Basics of drone components andprinciples of flight
• Introduction toSCRATCH coding with drones
• Plenty ofhands-on drone piloting skills
• Drone racing
• Dronephotography and videography
  
• Introduction to aerialmapping and photogrammetry
  
• Dronesafety
• Working in coordinated “Drone Teams”

Every student who pre-registers before July 15th will receive their own drone to take home at the end of the course.
